Bio

While this would be the first race of this kind for me, I believe that my background and future planned races well prepare to tackle this endeavor. I have completed numerous Ironman 70.3 races, recently completed Ironman Couer D'Alene (140.6 total miles). I am scheduled to tackle Ironman Arizona this November. These events demonstrate my comfort in the water, my ability to focus on a singular goal and succeed under the pressure of cutoff times in endurance events. In addition to these events I have done multiple Stand Up Paddleboard events this past year to include the St. John's SUP Rush (1st place Women's Open Division), Race the Reef SUP Race (1st place Women's Surf Style Board (20-29)), and the Great Ponte Vedre Paddle (3rd Place Women's Surf Style Board). I will be competing in the ChattaJack SUP 31 Mile SUP race this October.
Upcoming events leading into YUKON 1000 2016:
100 Mile Paddle SUP race in NYC
Missouri American Water MR340
Ironman Texas

Aims

This will be my first attempt at a race of this distance and so my primary goal will be to test my endurance and complete this race with a smile :)

Reason for Entering

Two of my favorite things are included in this race: Testing my ability as an endurance athlete, and the beauty that the outdoors has to offer. Hence this race is meant to be :)
